"goodguards" is the brainchild of two friends from Dresden, Ulf and Rüdiger

THE FOUNDERS

They both love exploring the world in their motorhomes.
Ulf is a health-conscious and curious person who has been fascinated by the topic of water
for a very long time. He has been involved in the treatment and refinement of drinking water for over nine years. His motivation is to create the best possible water quality for every individual situation. With this, he has already been able to inspire many satisfied customers.

His friend Rüdiger approached him in 2021 with the desire to reliably make the water in his motorhome drinkable again. He was tired of constantly buying bottled water.

After all, you're constantly carrying up to 100 liters of fresh water. So why not use that? At the time, Ulf already had a commercially available drinking water filter, but he wasn't satisfied with it.
That was the start of their joint project "goodguards".

  • From idea to market readiness, he accompanies every process.
  • He organizes many small, important things that ultimately have a significant WOW effect.
  • Through his foresight and courage, he succeeds in developing marketable solutions from his own challenges, which often offer great added value for others.
  • His 4x4 camper is definitely kept in its natural habitat, and worn-out steps are not uncommon.

In the first step, the two carried out a general vulnerability analysis of the drinking water system in motorhomes.

Then followed a market analysis:
Which water treatment systems and concepts were available on the market? Through Ulf's experience with water treatment solutions, the idea quickly arose to optimize existing systems to meet the challenges of drinking water treatment in motorhomes. With a lot of expertise and even more passion for the subject, as well as countless tests, the joint project was ready by early 2023 for the first "goodguards" water treatment system to go into series production.

Today, the "goodguards®" system inspires globetrotters who want to improve their drinking water quality all over the world and ensures more safety and joy of travel!
